Jennifer Durward APRN, PMHNP-BC

CEO/Founder
Jen is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Havre on Montana's Hi-Line. Inspired by her older sister, who was born with neurological and physical challenges, Jen has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to her community. Jen earned her nursing degrees from Montana State University–Northern and began her career as a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health Unit at Northern Montana Hospital, where she became board-certified in psychiatric nursing (RN-BC). She later served as Clinical Coordinator at Bullhook Community Health Center, gaining experience in behavioral health, case management, and caring for underserved populations. In 2011, Jen earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and became board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She provided psychiatric care throughout north-central Montana, serving rural communities both in person and through telehealth. Today, as the owner of Laverdure Psychiatry, Jen provides personalized, evidence-based psychiatric care while collaborating closely with primary care providers to improve patient outcomes. She has served as a preceptor for psychiatric nurse practitioner students since 2018, helping train the next generation of mental health providers. Jen has advanced training in psychopharmacology through the Neuroeducation Institute and frequently consults with healthcare providers across Montana on complex psychiatric cases.
